Verdict

Ut Majeur Aulmes is on a hat-trick but now finds himself on a career-high mark and carrying 11lb more than when second in the race last year. OWEN NA VIEW was fourth that day but now races off a 16lb lower mark. He pulled too hard in the early stages when only fifth at Newbury last time and may be worth another chance on going that will suit. Monbeg River is running well and deserves a change of luck so can't be ignored while Huntingdon scorer Raven's Tower has had just the four runs over fences. Parsnip Pete is thrown in on his best form but has been struggling for a while and may not be the force of old.
