In depth

Verdict

A step up in trip could be the making of Persian Snow and he's coming down the weights but this is quite a stiff track. Sun Cloud stays further so won't be stopping while Gorsky Island has been taking on better opposition. Edmund Kean and And The Man are both capable if in the mood but Five Star Wilsham was behind Gorsky Island at Ludlow in December and would have preferred an easier surface. CARRIGDHOUN has a good strike rate and, after winning over 2m4f at Haydock, ran really well behind Virak at the same track over this trip. He's only a pound higher and has every chance of returning to winning ways.
