In depth

Verdict

A very competitive handicap chase involving Ta Ta For Now, Mocharamor, Fearless Mel and Possextown with the vote going to the last named. Second on his first two runs of the season he got his head in front over course and distance last month beating Pessimistic Dick by fourteen lengths. The handicapper has taken note but this horse looks progressive and if able to step up to this task will prove difficult to beat. Ta Ta For Now stayed on well on his seasonal reappearance to win at Catterick. He is entitled to improve for that run a is worth noting. As are the hat-trick seeking pair Fearless Mel and Mocharmor who are both in fantastic form but both take a step up in grade so it remains to be seen if they are up to this level of form. So for the winner we return to Possextown.
