In depth

Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Mr Tee Pee, Gee Aker Malayo and Drumossie and the narrow vote is given to Gee Aker Malayo. The selection was a fair second behind Manoubi last time out. That form has since been franked and off the same mark here he looks a value bet. Mr Tee Pee rates the main danger on his latest second behind Tarkasar in a hurdle race. He returns to chasing on a fair mark but he often finds less than expected off the bridle and at likely odds he is taken on. Drumossie won well last time when beating Star Galaxy but this looks tougher and he looks vulnerable under a penalty. Mister Magnum won well last time out when beating Know The Ropes and could go well at a price if his jumping holds up. Of the remainder Russian Sky is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but his best form is on a softer surface and with this in mind for the winner we return to Gee Aker Malayo who looks to have plenty in his favour.
