In depth

Verdict

Kajaki had stablemate Rickety Gate well behind when coming right back to form over course and distance three weeks ago and goes on the shortlist again. Aurora Thunder also has form over track and trip and has been hinting at a revival lately but Trebizond had little to beat in a Hexham seller 12 days ago with Born Famous, another recent course and distance winner, making more appeal. HARIBO COLLONGES (NAP) won another division of the same handicap as the latter here earlier in the month and in a quicker time. Brian Hughes keeps the partnership intact and he’s preferred to the unexposed Neigh Botha.
