    Though Cartmel form doesn’t always travel, there seems little point in opposing recent winner ARDERA CROSS in this as Effet Special, the other who will appreciate underfoot conditions, is having a first run since an ordinary UK debut at Ayr in February. Uptown Funk is having a first run over fences but would have a chance on the pick of his hurdles form.
