Verdict

Gabrial The Great and GOLD FUTURES are very progressive novices and the pair are both chasing a four-timer in this. The former has won his last three by an aggregate of 80 lengths but we really like Nicky Richards' five-year-old, who came off a strong pace to beat experienced handicappers at Market Rasen last time. Gassin Golf just can't get his head in front but has run some fine races in defeat and will probably pop up when least expected and he's preferred to the returning Saphir River and the equally luckless Bellgrove.
