Verdict

This is easily the best race on the card with A P McCoy partnering BORDONI, who has been keeping even better company. He's a winner on soft ground and lightly raced so gets the nod as Irish raider Takeyourcapoff would have preferred a quicker surface. Bangor scorer Dormouse has never won off a mark this high while it's a long time since Dumbarton showed any worthwhile form but Roc D'Apsis is interesting back over hurdles after a spell chasing and is preferred to veteran Dhaular Dhar, though the latter did win here in September.
