This looks quite competitive, though it's difficult to fancy Calton Entry and Where's Tiger is also struggling at present. Vosne Romanee defied a big weight to claim a deserved victory at Chepstow last month but has been raised 7lb for that. Curious Carlos is just as interesting having got back to winning ways at the same track and he'll again sport the headgear. Polstar, Jet Master and Dynamic Drive are all capable on their day but we'll stick with NINE ALTARS (NAP) has really come into his own this spring and beat a useful sort in Apterix at Ayr.
Curious Carlos 9-2 (11-11) Held up in touch and keen, went 2nd before last going well, badly hampered by faller and left in lead soon after last, kept on strongly, won at Chepstow 2m 3f (4) gd in Apr beating Verygoodverygood (10-13) by 6l, 7 ran.
Vosne Romanee 5-2fav (11-12) Held up mid-division, headway before 4 out, led last, kept on, won at Chepstow 2m hcp (4) gd in Apr beating Wolftrap (10-5) by 1 1/4l, 11 ran.
Dynamic Drive (IRE) 14-1 (11-12) In touch, headway before 2 out, soon chased winner, kept on and held towards finish, 2nd of 10, 1 1/4l behind Ash Park (11-1) at Kelso 2m hcp (4) gd in May.
Polstar (FR) 5-1 (11-4) In rear and outpaced, pushed along before 4 out, headway from 2 out, kept on from last, nearest at finish, 3rd of 11, 10 3/4l behind King Muro (10-13) at Ludlow 2m hcp (3) gs in Apr.
