Verdict

Silver Star is yet another Denise Foster chance on the card, arriving on the back of a much-improved run at Clonmel last month. However, he's far from bombproof and both career wins came back in 2018. It may be that the return to fences has worked the oracle but this is not a straightforward assignment. Duke Of Navan retains both enthusiasm and a decent form level at 13, although he too has not landed a win since 2018 despite accumulating plenty of place money. Therefore, MING DYNASTY receives the vote, having performed with real credit over larger obstacles this term and scoring with authority at Hexham last month.
