        Verdict

        Roserrow, a decent miler on the Flat, made his hurdling debut in the race won by TAGLIETELLE at Cartmel but was beaten 16 lengths. Even with a 7lb turnaround in the weights, it's difficult to see him turning the tables here and Gordon Elliott's charge can score for the third time over timber. Rossini's Dancer is having a prep race before resume his career over fences while Stynes is getting no closer to breaking his duck. Gold Chain won on the Flat in July but has a lot to find with the selection on his form over hurdles.
