In depth

Verdict

JAMSIE HALL was thought good enough to run in the Galway Plate and though making no impression his overall form in Ireland gives him the edge. Sergeant Pink has gone up 6lb for landing a similar class handicap here last time and runner-up Scotch Warrior will be fancied to reverse the form on 5lb better terms. Quito Du Tresor was 5l behind and looks held while Maggio has only run four times over fences and may need the experience. Dark Energy has to be a threat as he was taking on too much at Southwell after completing a Market Rasen double.
