Jewelled Dagger goes well here and should be cherry-ripe now following his winter break. Chino Valdes has won twice over this trip, including on his latest start at Cork, but has never raced on ground this fast. Rain Stops Play finally got off the mark over hurdles at Sedgefield last month and makes more appeal than the Lucinda Russell pair Quito Du Tresor and Degas Art at the weights, but Latin Connection's frustrating run continued when he fell at Kelso and Zahara Joy has plenty to do from 5lb out of the handicap. SURE JOSIE SURE's last win came here in April last year but she's been very lightly raced since and in much better company. David Pipe's mare is fancied to make her long trip from the west country pay dividends.
