THORPE showed a welcome return to form here last month and is probably the one to beat, despite a 6lb rise, though has not been one to rely on in the past. Border Breaker is the only one of these to have won at the track but that was over fences and this looks too short. Pikarnia won over this trip at Sedgefield in March but has been a beaten favourite in both starts since, including when behind Louloumills at Kelso in May.
