This should prove a walk in the park for the brilliant 'Arc winner TREVE, unbeaten in five starts culminating in that sensational burst of speed at Longchamp, and she should propel Frankie Dettori back into the headlines this season. Ground conditions don't appear to be a problem for the daughter of Motivator and with her allowance another bonus she can see off the challenge of the 18-times winner Cirrus Des Aigles, who showed himself almost as good as ever when runner-up to the Japanese star Gentildonna in the Dubai Sheema Classic. Joshua Tree had finished last behind that winner in the Japan Cup in November while Smoking Sun gained his first Group victory when seeing off Norse King and Triple Threat here earlier this month and was twice behind Cirrus Des Aigles in the autumn. The selection's new stablemate Belle De Crecy did very well for Richard Hannon and Johnny Murtagh and looks sure to win some good races this season but Baltic Baroness hasn't quite shown she's up to this sort of level.
