    Verdict

The mighty Falbrav was the last UK based winner to land this back in 2003 but both Newmarket raiders have decent claims in this year's renewal. Planteur was promoted to runner-up last year on the disqualification of Cirrus Des Aigles with Zinabaa back in fourth and he must go close again but BEAUTY PARLOUR is preferred. She joined Sir Henry Cecil last season after winning the French 1000 Guineas and so nearly following up in the Oaks at Chantilly. Withdrawn from last week's Lockinge, she's sure to be ready for this and back on familiar territory, she gets the nod. Most of the home challengers have so far come up short at the highest level with the exception of last year's French Derby winner Saonois, who may well reverse recent running with Maxios and also get the better of the unproven Mandour.
