Verdict

Treve was only fourth in this last year when odds-on before going on to complete her Arc double. No doubt the big race is the target again and she may not be fully tuned up on her first start since winning a Group 1 at Saint-Cloud in June. Arabian Queen caused a huge shock in the Juddmonte at York but has another furlong and a half to cover here while SEA CALISI ran a cracker in the Yorkshire Oaks after winning a Group 2 at Saint-Cloud. Lightly-raced, she may be capable of better still and is preferred to the in-form Candarliya, who has been winning in lesser company, and June's Pretty Polly winner Diamondsandrubies. Frine is useful but needs softer ground.
