In depth

Verdict

Sestilio Jet, under Frankie Dettori, beat Batwan just under a length in this last year with Ken Colt a further length back in third though that was on heavy going. The runner-up didn't run again and his only success came over a mile. GOLD VIBE, who was fourth a year ago, found the ground too testing and reversed the form with the winner in a Group 3 here in September when third behind subsequent L'Abbaye winner Glass Slippers. It's a long time since he won but gets the vote to make a successful return. We Go, one of three from his yard, has completed an all-weather hat-trick on three different tracks but hasn't done quite as well on Turf. The lightly-raced Duhail has plenty of scope and may do best of the remainder.
