        Verdict

        ARCTIC looks worth chancing in suitably chilly weather. Tracey Collins was last seen in June at the Curragh on quick ground but all of his juvenile runs suggest that this testing ground will suit and he did slam this year's Nunthorpe winner, Sole Power, by five lengths last July. Lady Of The Desert is a fascinating addition to the line-up following her saunter in the Diadem Stakes with the drop in trip unlikely to worry, whilst Swiss Diva has blossomed since racing in this country and she seems to have gelled with jockey Ioritz Mendizabal; this however is the acid test. Rose Blossom is a quick filly but the ground might blunt her speed, so bigger dangers lurk in the form of the experienced War Artist and recent soft ground winners Amico Fritz and Planet Five. Last-year's winner Total Gallery is also of interest along with the hold-up star Marchand D'Or and home challengers Mar Adentro and Bluster.
