TIME MEDICEAN is the choice in a tough handicap as he was running well from higher marks at this time last year and looked an unlucky loser when runner-up to The Strig at Sandown last month. Rock On Candy has to be a big threat as she's won three of her last four, all on ground with plenty of give, and she doesn't appear to have stopped winning just yet. Steel Rain has won six times, almost all on ground with some give, but he's 10lb higher than his last success on this track in August. Ace Master and George Fenton won last time out with preference for the former, whose victory came over this course and distance on heavy going.
