In depth

Formwatch

Sir Ninja (IRE) Favoured by trips around a mile in testing conditions as recent placed efforts at Haydock and York (last time) show; 5lb rise since latest start is harsh but should be thereabouts again.

Silky Dawn (IRE) Expensive failure when odds-on for a conditions race at Leicester in soft ground on latest start; probably best watched judged by that effort.

Millennium Force Showed he handles cut in the ground when second to Lots Of Love in heavy ground at Haydock last month; better form on a faster surface though and others preferred.

Pension Fund Consistent handicapper but arguably better on faster ground than a soft surface; back to a winning mark and could go well.

Soller Bay Handles cut in the ground all right as when fourth, albeit well beaten behind Itsanothergirl at Ayr earlier this month; has place claims.

Aravonian Has failed to trouble the judge since winning her maiden at Warwick in May; unproven on ground as soft as this.

Bold Raider Has form with cut in the ground but probably better on a faster surface; held by Sir Ninja on running at Haydock last time.

Dakota Sioux (IRE) Proved her liking for soft ground at Catterick earlier in the month; more to do off new mark here.

Escalade Rattled up a four-timer of victories during August and September including on heavy ground); looked in handicapper's grip at York on latest start and deserted by Kieren Fallon, although Sam Hitchcott claims a valuable 7lb.

Be Decisive Looks to face a stiff task after C&D maiden race success last time.

Egypt Turned out quickly having chased home Onlytime Will Tell at Doncaster over seven furlongs last week; longer trip should suit but had a hard race at Town Moor and may not be over it.

Greenaway Bay (USA) Better effort last time but becoming frustrating; others preferred.

Madame Jones (IRE) Still seeking elusive 11th handicap success of the season; impossible to rule out over favoured trip. Has form on heavy ground (probably better on faster) but may be too high in the weights now.
