Both Seniority and Daira Prince made winning reappearances with the latter scoring over track and trip but both are upped in class off higher marks. By contrast, Circus Couture, a prolific winner in Italy, was well beaten in Listed company at Ascot on his debut for new connections and may do better in this. A Group 3 winner last year, Custom Cut has struggled since returning to handicaps and Tricorn finished a couple of lengths behind BLESS HIM at Ascot last summer when the latter won the Britannia. Further progress is expected from David Simcock’s colt this year and he’s taken to make a winning reappearance.
