    Verdict

    All five are of interest. Croeso Cymraeg just failed to land the Cumberland Plate last time and is having a fine season. He must be produced late though and may not be ideally suited to this small field, whilst Fierospeed, last of five when last seen off a career-high mark, is probably best watched. Tawaareq is solid but probably needs to improve against the other three-year-olds. Miramichi has completed an impressive hat-trick under Jane Elliott and must go close but is 21lb higher than when getting off the mark this term and ENCOURAGE is preferred. Brought along with typical Roger Charlton patience, he landed a competitive Newbury handicap this month and can progress further from a 5lb higher mark.
