      Verdict

      Bogardus would be very interesting with the in-form Paula Muir aboard if returning to the best of his all-weather form during the winter but has been beaten a long way on two starts since for a new yard. Check him out should there be significant support for the Mullaney inmate. Pikes Corner Cross is better than recent form figures suggest but FREUD has shaped well enough on all three starts this season to suggest he should go close off this mark in a modest contest. Hopefully, he will not lose too much valuable ground at the gate as has been the case the last twice. Castle Talbot and Channel Packet are not ruled out if putting their best foot forward.
