Verdict

Any support in the betting for the newcomers should be noted, especially the Three Valleys gelding Bluebells Are Blue and Richard Hannon's debutant Wolfgang. Royal Purse is related to a multiple winner and may prove best of the David Evans trio, but JIMMY THE LOLLIPOP's experience should stand him in good stead. He showed plenty of speed when fifth on his debut in the Brocklesby at Doncaster three weeks ago and can get off the mark here, confirming running with the well beaten Outlaw Torn in the process.
