A poor race that should take little winning and Raoul Dufy may provecapable of making a winning handicap debut. Paul Cole's charge has shown a little ability in all-weather maidens and is a half-brother to a smart middle distance performer so should be better suited by this longer trip. Bally Hall is another who may be able to leave previous efforts behind over this more suitable trip but Victory Spin has shaped as though he needs further to show his best. Lautrec showed little in three maiden events as a juvenile but hails from an in-form yard and is yet another who could improve for this stiffer test and the presence of Pat Eddery may be significant.
