      Verdict

      There may only be seven runners in this but it's a competitive affair in which most would have a chance on the form book. Serene Beauty could be anything after making a winning debut on Tapeta and Triple Dip had been knocking on the door before getting off the mark at Bath. But recent course winner Melodious looks better treated while Graceland was placed in better company at Chester earlier this month. CARTIER gets a tentative vote as she's a sure to be suited by today's step up in trip and the form of her victory at Kempton in December has been franked. Goodwood second Perceived is preferred to Elle Shade of the others.
