Fantastic Lass represents a stable going well and gets the vote here ahead of Chanteuse De Rue and Patthepainter. The selection comes here on the back of a decent second at Southwell when she seemed to appreciate the step up in trip. That was her first run in handicap company and despite a 6lb rise in the weights for that run, this mark of 53 should not hold her back. Chanteuse De Rue looks an obvious danger given her Wolverhampton win last time out, where she beat Art Exhibition and showed a good attitude in the process. A worry with her though, given her American pedigree and her form so far, is that soft ground does not appear to be her favourite. Kalokairi is nicely bred and this daughter of Galileo could easily be thrown in on this mark of 59 for her handicap debut, whereas Thankuforthemusic tries the blinkers for the first time. Okafranca is another for consideration having shown ability to date, whilst Patthepainter steps up in trip which looks to be a good move. Pequeno Dinero is yet another for consideration having improved solidly last season however the feeling is that she may need the run and so we will return to Fantastic Lass as the selection.
