With some incredulous form on offer, this is not a race to wade into too heavily; and a solid selection is not easy to find. Rhythm Of Life has shown that she is going the right way since her reappearance, but the race she won at Redcar last time was a pretty weak affair and she left it very late to justify the very cramped odds. The step up to a mile may see her post a more convincing display but she looks to be one to treat with caution in her follow up bid. First Maite is never on e to oppose lightly at this level and is an incredibly tough character. However, his wins-to-runs ratio does not make for good reading and he has only won twice since 1999. Miss Damask has been in fair form on the all weather but this is only her second outing on turf and she may be best watched today. Dennis Our Menace and Catcando do not especially well treated by the weights so Tribal Prince receives a very tentative vote. He has been knocking on the door of late and deserves to have more than just his solitary success so far added to his form book statistics.
