Verdict

Fast Feet was very green on debut but should have gained enough experience from that run to score today, although newcomers Grand Fleet and Irving Place should not be underestimated coming from two top-class stables. This looks like a decent contest and the experience that Fast Feet will have gained from his debut a fortnight ago should stand him in good stead today. He was doing his best work late on and if avoiding another tardy start, he should be involved in the finish. Grand Fleet is a colt by Green Desert and should be watched for signs of market support. He may just find this five furlongs just a little on the sharp side though and so of more interest may be Irving Place who is bred to be effective over this trip and looks a live danger. Dhaka Dazzle was a cheap purchase but shouldn't be ruled out of calculations, whilst Al Muheer's half brother Suki Bear won on debut so he could be raring to go. David Evans has started the turf season well so his Shipboard Romance could go well at a price, however for the winner we will side with the once-raced Fast Feet to have all the right moves.
