Montaly was easy to back and slowly away on debut at Lingfield but shaped with some promise in the closing stages and can only improve. Amood was third at Newmarket but found little off the bridle at Ascot next time, though is eased in grade here. Idder is a half-brother to a winning juvenile but Dragoon Guard and the superbly-bred Sea Here are other newcomers to note. The latter is by Sea The Stars out of Oaks heroine Look Here but will do better over further in time. ISTIKSHAF couldn't match the finishing speed of Mount Logan at Yarmouth but was clear of the third and may be capable of going one better today.
