Saluti wasn’t at his best at Pontefract last week but hasn’t been performing badly overall this season and makes more appeal than stable companion Nibras Again off this mark. EEH BAH GUM is unquestionably well handicapped at present and didn’t really get the run of the race when favourite at Musselburgh nine days ago. He’s been dropped a further pound since and, with cheekpieces added today, can finally get his head back in front. Tomshalfbrother has only placed once in eight starts on this surface but Blazing Hot could be interesting if fully wound-up.
