Verdict
Biscar Two ran into a progressive type in Ace Coming and he should be more than up to winning at this lowly level; Brother Cadfael and Princess Ismene providing the most likely dangers. Richard Whitaker's decision to drop to selling grade is something of a surprise as his horse hasn't done a lot wrong and has only had the misfortune of running into improving types in the past. Brother Cadfael is consistent if not exposed. The ground is a worry as he has not faced anything like this in the past. Princess Ismene is at least given a chance by the handicapper after a 5lb drop in the weights. She has yet to sparkle in many attempts since a January victory at Lingfield. Faraway Echo is watched in the market for clues. Michael Bell's recent record in selling contests has yielded a massive level stakes profit and the market should give the best clues. Shanghai Surprise's last run at Southwell was as bad as the film of the same name. Biscar Two has fewest questions to answer and is given as the selection.
