In depth

Verdict

This has been a poor race for three-year-olds but Dutch Masterpiece will be fancied to put matters right as he bids for a hat-trick. He's yet to run against older horses but it will be a surprise if he doesn't get involved in the finish. ELUSIVITY is a regular in much stronger grade than this and rarely disgraced. He'll find this bunch more to his liking and can get back on the winning track. Free Zone, runner-up in a Listed event at Ascot in October, hasn't performed up to that mark so far this campaign but this could be his time of the year. Stepper Point went close in a Listed event at Deauville earlier this month and looks best of the remainder.
