SUPREME SPIRIT bumped into a well-handicapped subsequent winner at Haydock and can gain compensation here. The filly made a winning debut at Ripon in a race that has produced several winners which makes this handicap rating appear fair and she's perhaps lucky to remain on it after that Haydock run, despite being readily brushed aside by the winner, so with conditions fine should be hard to beat. Ursula has been given a month-long break since winning at Ayr and should go well in her bid to defy a 5lb rise; she should account for Leonid Glow and Feelin Foxy once more despite the turnaround in the weights. Angus Newz, Posy Fossil and Revue Princess may suffer for engaging in a battle for the lead so watch out for a late run from Miss Hollybell, but she might just need a stiffer test than this.
