ARTISTIC JEWEL concluded a very satisfying first season when scoring decisively at Newmarket in Listed grade, giving the impression that she would not be out of place upped to Group class. She had previously outpointed Arnold Lane at Salisbury, the form of which was franked by the runner-up's brave success at Chester this week. This looks a good starting point for the new campaign and the Excellent Art filly is preferred to Ladies Are Forever who rates a danger all the same. A winner at both Listed and Group 3 level, she will handle the ground and looks all set for a prosperous three-year-old campaign. Swiss Dream developed into a tough and genuine sprinter last season and there's no reason not to expect the same again this time round. However, her yard is yet to strike form this season which naturally tempers confidence. Roger Sez should appreciate both the drop in grade and trip and may be best of the rest.
