Bollin Thomas, Sabbiosa and Middlethorpe are shortlisted in a tricky affair, with the vote going to Sabbiosa. Patrixprial won from today's mark in 2004 and, with first-time blinkers on, can't be ruled out of a good run. Street Life is on a winning mark and, even though unproven at today's trip, he suggested at Kempton last time that he is worth a try at it. Bollin Thomas is on a winning mark from last season and, fit from hurdling, he can go well today. Treason Trial has a "career-high" to defy if scoring, while Sphinx would hold a chance if first-time blinkers take him back two-and-a-half years. Sabbiosa returned for the season with, arguably, a best-yet effort and today's trip could bring even more from her, while Middlethorpe is two pounds below a winning mark now and ran well at Pontefract last time, so comes here fit, and recent-winning hurdler, Dhedaah, is back to a more-reasonable mark on Turf and is another to consider. Finally, Celtic Carisma improved towards the end of last season and, lightly raced, should have a bit more to come this season, and Mary Gray, Nobbler and Count Boris have all proven - or have suggested they are capable - of winning from their current marks. We have to make a selection, though, and that is Sabbiosa.
