Syllabus has been gelded since finishing a close third at Windsor in June and SHADOW OF WAR may have a bit more scope. The Gosdens’ colt was still showing signs of inexperience when third at Newmarket and will also strip fitter here. Dunes King was all out to make a winning debut at Windsor and is penalised but the second franked the form on Monday and Cracking Filly is held on the form book. Arctic Mountain will have learned plenty from his third at Chelmsford and the extra quarter-mile has to be a positive.
