In depth

Verdict

A competitive sprint for the prize money. The maiden PRAXEDIS could be interesting off a low weight after a fair fourth at Doncaster. At the opposite end of the handicap, Penny Pot Lane also makes some appeal while Poet's Pride wasn’t winning out of turn at Wolverhampton in February. Tricky Dicky loves the Fibresand but is not as effective on Turf while Winklemann has a poor strike-rate and his latest third at Salisbury came over 7f. Irish raider Canford Art has a lengthy absence to overcome.
