Verdict

HALLSTAT came up short in better company at Chester last time but scored over track and trip before that and is only 3lb higher today. John Mackie's charge can return to winning ways back in this grade. Tijori finished third over 1m4f last time but has won over 2m so today's distance is no problem and he can figure along with Royal Sea. Naburn made the frame at Newcastle recently but remains 6lb higher than when scoring at the same track in April while Taste The Wine also looks high enough in the weights at present though he's been in good form over hurdles of late.
