Gunslinger has been in good form over shorter trips but has something to prove stepping up in distance, and so has the progressive Laverre, who could bounce back after a poor effort on soft ground last time. Frameit is better on the Polytrack and Hallstatt keeps edging up the weights despite not winning, but Arashi has claims on his latest fourth over C&D. However, the vote goes to HAWRIDGE KING, who was unfancied on his recent reappearance but ran a big race to finish a close-up fifth. With that pipe-opener under his belt Stuart Kittow's charge is fancied to return to winning ways here.
