      Verdict

      NORSE STAR has been getting closer with each successive step up in trip. He found only Anipa too good over 1m4f at Wolverhampton last time and the form looks much better in hindsight with the latter going on to win the Cheshire Oaks this week. He faces nothing of that calibre in this with Running Wolf's victory over a mile at Carlisle looking the best form of the remainder. Trafalgar Rock ran well when favourite at Kempton in March but met with interference when starting 20/1 at Lingfield last time. Izbushka has been placed on the all-weather and Tactical Strike may do better now handicapping.
