Verdict

Kingscroft seems better over shorter trips and so does Dubai Hills. The latter ran a shocker at Catterick last week behind Nameitwhatyoulike but Mick Easterby's charge should be thereabouts again despite a penalty. Maven and Kay Gee Be have a shout and Ripon winner Hayek is not easily dismissed off today's mark. Masters Blazing is another to consider in an open race but a speculative vote goes to UNCLE DERMOT, a winner at Salisbury last month and placed in three subsequent starts in testing ground including over C&D a week ago.
