made all, shaken up and edged right over 1f out, soon clear, eased towards finish
slowly into stride, soon held up in touch, ridden over 2f out, weakened inside final furlong
held up, ridden and headway over 2f out, soon chasing winner, no impression, kept on same pace
tracked winner, took keen hold, ridden over 3f out, no extra inside final furlong
MEZYAAD is the only one of these proven over the trip having won at Leicester on his racecourse debut. He just got the better of High Samana on that occasion but was clear of the rest of the field and Roger Varian's gelding can continue his winning ways. Qushchi had her limitations exposed in the Nell Gywn last time but an entry in the Oaks suggests she's expected to stay further, while there is little between Badeel, Profondo Rosso and Sky Falcon on last year's winning efforts though the latter hails from a stable in better form.
