In depth

Verdict

ANNANDALE (NAP) pressed the well-backed Tamborrada all the way to the line at Doncaster. He looks a very progressive colt and it’s a mystery why the handicapper hasn’t raised him for that run on Town Moor. Encourage finished third here on his handicap debut and has been gelded over the winter, though is closely match with Mojandil on the form book. Albert Camus has been showing improved form at Lingfield this year and Gordonstoun bids for a hat-trick of course victories. Currency Exchange may benefit from a switch back to Turf and Taravara wears a visor on his return. Ivynator has scope and may be the pick of the remainder.
