        Verdict

        Desert Lion made hard work of landing the odds in a novice event at Bath last month and is probably high enough in the weights. RECONDITE also makes his handicap debut having been recently gelded. The ground is an unknown but Ralph Beckett’s three-year-old, who cost €150,000 as a yearling, should have more to offer. Georgia Dobie’s claim will help Madeleine Bond and there are also possibilities about Dubai Acclaim, Fitzrovia, Tangramm and Saikung in an open-looking contest.
