Verdict

Newcastle winner FRANZ STRAUSS reappeared in last month’s Classic Trial at Sandown. He never figured on that occasion but Benoit De La Sayette’s allowance negates a penalty and that should give him the edge over West Wind Blows. The latter made a winning debut on the all-weather in December while Chimed went close at Windsor more recently and is preferred to stablemate and newcomer Real Dream, who cost a whopping 430,000gns as the first foal of a Group 1 winner in Italy. The Gadget Man is upped in trip for his return to action along with Return To Dubai.
