    Verdict

    TRUESHAN is a very smart stayer on soft going. He won the Group 1 Goodwood Cup last year as well as the Prix du Cadran and the Long Distance Cup at Ascot and fitness shouldn’t be an issue given he almost gave weight to the Group 1 winner Japan in the Ormonde Stakes on his reappearance last season. Ger Lyons’ Yaxeni gets a mare’s allowance and beat a big field in a valuable handicap over 2m at Naas on her final appearance of 2021. Quickthorn goes well fresh and finished second in last year’s Ebor so is preferred to Stowell and Eileendover of the remainder.
