Several make their handicap debuts with a chance including Deferred and Vega Sicilia but A E HOUSMAN won a maiden race at Lingfield last month and this extra distance should suit. Ascending went close at Newbury and Elena's Gift ran well again at Haydock while Strawman has been thereabouts on faster going lately.
