SHIGAR made good late headway when attracting market support over 7f at Yarmouth. With that experience to draw on, William Haggas’ Farhh colt can recoup losses. Schmilsson has run a couple of nice races over a bit further at Goodwood but Rockfire will need to improve on a debut fifth here to figure. Flamborough was beaten under a length at Brighton but that was on fast ground and this looks a much deeper contest. Sir Michael Stoute’s Desert Crown, a half-brother to four winners, and the grey Ham And Jam, who is related to a winner in France, may be the pick of the newcomers.
